About Us

Dennis de Peiza is a teacher by profession and a practicing trade unionist. He is the current serving General Secretary of the Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB), a position he has held since the year 2002. He is a former President and General Secretary of the Barbados Union of Teachers, and a former Vice President and Trustee of the Caribbean Union of Teachers.

He holds a B.A (Hons.) Degree in History & Sociology (UWI), the Certificate in Educational Management & Administration (UWI, Cave Hill), and a Masters Degree (M.A) in Public Administration, from the University of Baltimore, USA. In addition, he holds a Diploma in Managing Public Relations from the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP), which he earned with distinction.

He received trade union training at the Trade Union Education Institute, Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies, and the National Labour College, Maryland, USA. On completion of his training at UWI, Mona, he was awarded a certificate in Labour Economics (Certificate of Merit), while he graduated with a certificate in Labour Relations Studies, from the America Institute For Free Labour Development, National Labour College, USA. Mr. De Peiza has also completed the trainers of trainers labour management programme, known as 'The Promotion of Management and Labour Cooperation' (PROMALCO).

He is the founder and Managing Director of Regional Management Services Inc. This company specializes in the delivery of workplace training programmes and offers Industrial Relations Consultancy Services.

Mr. de Peiza also conducted training on the behalf of the International Labour Organization (ILO), and has worked as a Adjunct Lecturer in the teaching of Industrial Relations at the Cave Hill School of Business, and as a Part time Lecturer with attachments to the Department of Management Studies and Social Sciences respectively (Main Campus, UWI, Barbados). He is also served as a Part Time Tutor at the Open Campus of University of the West Indies, located in the Pine, St. Michael, Barbados.

Dennis de Peiza is the author of the book, 'Issues and Responses' which was published in 2006. The book features a collection of articles, speeches and commentaries on industrial relations, education, cultural, socio-economic and political issues.
In 2011 he launched his second work, entitled 'Guidelines to Fire and Emergency Procedures Manual.' In August 2013, he made a soft launch of an Industrial Relations training Website with the URL of www.regionalmanagementservices.com.

In December, 2013, Issues Responses Vol.2 entitled 'Effective Management and Best Practice in the Workplace' was published. This was followed by the publication of the books 'Contemporary Issues in Public Administration in 2014' and 'Introduction to the World of Work' in 2016 respectively.
